This is year of Jubilee this year and the entire place was a zoo of people. Far to crowed for us however we loved our time here. This year was very hot for us with high humidity. We found out how to tour by touring in the morning and resting after a late lunch in the coolness of our lodging then starting up early evening with a great meal on a canal and strolling in the evening or riding the vaporetto through the city.

Hard Rock cafe is a great place to eat, just off St Marks Square.
St. Mark's Basilica is worth visiting, but purchase the skip the line ticket otherwise you have a long wait.
Purchase a Vaporetto Pass it will save you a fortune.

Venice is a great city.
Venice is a great city. The location of this villa is out of the chaos of St. Mark’s Square but has lots of restaurants around it. The water taxi was right in front so going into the main area was never a problem. The managers of the property were very helpful in setting up transportation both from the train station and to the airport. The property was very clean, kitchen well stocked and comfortable.

Late April was a good time to visit because the weather wasn't too hot and the lines weren't too long. Several of our group visited Saint Mark's Cathedral and they only waited a few minutes. One hint is to go an hour or two before closing, because it was less busy then.
Kids enjoy riding around on the water taxis, so be sure to get an all-day pass. Any time they get tired of walking, just hop on a taxi for a while and enjoy the views.

Venice is a must see for everyone.
Venice is a must see for everyone. There is only one Venice in the world! Beautiful architecture, way of living, friendliness of the people. Just all-around great! My favourite Italian city ever :-) A visit to Burano/Murano is also worth a visit or even lunch in the colourful city streets of Burano.

Venice is a city that feels like it came out of a fairytale. I didn’t expect to find something so beautiful. Every corner was picturesque, surrounded by art, history, architecture, and delicious seafood. Everyone should see this city at least once in their lifetime.

Giorgio Was an amazing host. He gave us a list of amazing local recommendations in Italy. We were on a trip where we stayed in multiple cities in Italy and booked similar priced accommodation throughout. This room was by far the best. We had issues in this price range in Verona, Milan and Genoa (loud aircon, difficult hosts, unclear check in, no blinds etc) but not in this room in Venice. Amazing location. Amazing host. Amazing room. It is hard in Venice to book nice accommodation in this price range and this room will not disappoint.
The central location was very convenient. Every staff member we met was polite efficient and genuinely interested in making our stay better. Special thanks to Marco on the desk at night for the engaging conversation and insights into life in Venice and Italy in general. Breakfast was lovely too, great coffee to set you up for your day. The decor was olde world style which added to the ambiance. We would recommend this hotel. Mick & Una
Great location on the canal. The owner, Jennifer, was lovely. She was very informative and recommended a restaurant that we would have just bypassed. It turned out that it was the best meal we ended up having in our whole stay in Italy.
Our flight home wasn’t until late but the hotel allowed us to store our bags at the property.
Accomodation is located in the Jewish Ghetto of Venice. Easy 10 minute walk from main train terminal to apartment or 1 stop on the ferry. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Rooms were clean and had a nice view of the canal from both bedrooms. Water pressure in the shower was the best we found whilst in Italy.
the best hotel service I had in Italy. Staffs were all kind and 24 hours ready. accomodation was great and as well as the location. There's taxi(boat) station right in front of hotel.
