The location was great. The area was safe to walk around and close to subway lines (we took M and 7 - both going to Manhattan). Our rooms were clean, the beds were comfy, and it was quiet. The standing shower was a nice touch, especially for my elderly parents. We slept well at night. The hotel does have a small lot with limited parking spots next to it. Breakfast was complimentary and good. Lastly, the staff were helpful and attentive. We had two reservations back to back, and the staff made their best efforts to accommodate us and even bring the luggage to our room once it was available.

Our visit to Queens was enjoyable and convenient. The area offers a good mix of local charm and accessibility to Manhattan. Plenty of food options, diverse neighborhoods, and a more relaxed pace compared to the city.

Long Island City is a fascinating place, in transition from a light industrial area to a vibrant residential city. It offers convenient access to LaGuardia Airport and Manhattan, making it a good choice for visitors wishing to avoid the frenzy and high prices of a stay in Manhattan.

Queens is a great place to stay—diverse, lively, and more relaxed than Manhattan. Getting around was super easy with reliable subway access. I enjoyed exploring different neighborhoods, especially Astoria and Jackson Heights for their amazing food scenes. I had some great meals at local diners and small family-run spots—so many authentic options! As a solo traveler, I loved walking through Flushing Meadows-Corona Park and checking out local museums. NYC has endless things to do, and Queens offers a quieter, affordable base to explore it all.

Excellent transportation, Manhattan is reachable within minutes by Subway. The Stations are close to the hotel. There is a convenience store across the street and there is an group of outlet stores (Marhalls, Old Navy and more) a couple of Subway stops or a brisk walk away at Astoria.

I didn't spend much time in Queens other than sleeping and walking to and from the subway station, but, while it wasn't as "exciting" and pretty as Manhattan, I did not feel unsafe and it was quiet.

I am very demanding to hotel service and amenities and LIC is definitely the best offer for its price for transit or for touristic stay in Queens, NY. It also has the magnificient view of Manhattan on the rooftop and it deserves to be seen. Room was big enough, comfort for 2 adults + 2y.o. child, very clean and quite thanks to its view to the backyard. Location is perfect, hospitality is on top of the list. Breakfast is good, though it could be more variety of fruites.
One of the best budget hotels in NYC. The location is two stops from Central Park, in Long Island City—a very safe location with good Subway connections and multiple lines. Long Island City has many shops, cafes and even a classic Diner. All in walking distance from the hotel. The room has tea, coffee coffee-making place, microwave in the room. Special thanks to the hotel staff, which is very nice and welcoming. This was my second time here and I will stay here again.
Close to the Metro station of Flushing, Queens 40 minutes by train to the Timesquare. The hotel located in the Chinese district surrounded with lots of restaurants. We could eat Chinese food for dinner on good price.
The hotel was clean, rooms small but had everything I needed. Bus stop right outside which was handy to get me to the subway etc. It’s located in the Asian part of Queens.
