Queens is a great place to stay—diverse, lively, and more relaxed than Manhattan. Getting around was super easy with reliable subway access. I enjoyed exploring different neighborhoods, especially Astoria and Jackson Heights for their amazing food scenes. I had some great meals at local diners and small family-run spots—so many authentic options! As a solo traveler, I loved walking through Flushing Meadows-Corona Park and checking out local museums. Excellent transportation, Manhattan is reachable within minutes by Subway. The Stations are close to the hotel. The best description for Queens is eclectic. It has a variety of interesting places to eat with excellent food from around the world . Nice places to go and different experiences depending on your taste. The hotel is small and remains peaceful. The neighbourhood in general was nice as well, a short walk to Gantry Plaza State Park and Hunter's Point South Park. It was quiet in the hotel, however, our room was facing the Queensboro bridge which generates a lot of noise 24/7, but the view was awesome. We also enjoyed the rooftop. Value for money for a hotel near Manhattan especially for someone travelling from Europe. Also near subway stations about 5 mins away.
