It was nice that the owner carried my suitcase upstairs. The single room was small but stylish, comfortable and very clean. There are nice pictures on the walls in the rooms and in the hallway. The painted blue sky and the white clouds on the ceiling are beautiful and a real piece of art. It was nice to chat with the owners and I can only recommend the place.

We ate in the restaurant, which offered nicely presented food at a decent price. Our steaks were cooked very well and served alongside proper chips. The team here works well together and the staff were all really helpful, pointing out historical details about the region. Our rooms were very comfortable with good facilities (tea and coffee) and were surprisingly quiet (this being a Saturday night). Our breakfasts were very good (eggs Benedict) and served quickly. Plentiful car parking.
