2-Bedroom SLO Bungalow House is located in San Luis Obispo, just 4 miles from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and 15 miles from Clark Center for the Performing Arts.

To escape the LA fires, we took a roadtrip up the California coast. SLO was our first stop. As a group of people who have very specific dietary needs, we needed a kitchen to make our own food. Let me tell you, this place was perfect. Not only was it extremely clean and comfortable, but it also had everything we needed. The main bed gave me some of the best nights of sleep I’ve ever had, and the main couch was just as comfortable. What I really enjoyed and made this trip feel not only like an escape, but a true vacation, was that a maid came to clean the area after our checkout, so we did not have to worry too much. Of course, we cleaned up after ourselves, but it was nice knowing that the owners did not expect us to be maids and stress about the cleanliness of the place when leaving to continue our trip. It really made a difference and is another big reason why I would stay here again. Overall, I didn’t want to leave. Out of our entire trip, this was our favorite stay by far. Will definitely return in the near future.

    Quaint, quiet, beautiful, and clean. We loved it,right off the trail and walked down to the beach! Excellent room, convenient parking and good coffee and snacks right there in the village. Ee drove to Vista for dinner, not far, highly recommended! We will return soon! Thank you!!!

    Best part of staying at the Avila Village Inn was the décor. The "Prairie" style furniture and fixtures were amazing It was like living in a museum. Oddly, the staff has no clue to the value of their surroundings. The big draw is the athletic club attached to the property.

    Hotel location was wonderful. Easy walk to the beach or village shops/restaurants. Our room on second floor overlooked a local park with partial beach views. We had a lovely private balcony for enjoying our morning coffee or evening beverage. We had a fridge and BONUS! Microwave with a few kitchen utensils including wine glass ;-) PS: Breakfast (morning coffee) was included and was very much appreciated!

    We stayed at Avilla Inn for one night in the middle of our camping trip to refresh and recharge. We had a wonderful time there. Staff is very helpful and kind. The rooms are gorgeously old and well-maintained. Hot tubs in the rooms are heavenly and clean. We loved our stay and we will certainly plan to return in the future.
