Renowned for its stunning architecture and the world’s largest fair, Oktoberfest, Munich needs little introduction. Its vibrant cultural scene, great shopping and fantastic museums speak for themselves.
Munich has something for everyone: from historic palaces and castles, to stunning royal avenues to world class galleries and museums. Don't miss the new city hall in the heart of Marienplatz or the former residence of the Bavarian kings, the Residenz. Munich is also home to the world’s most famous beer hall, the Hofbräuhaus.
For great shopping, Karlsplatz is another commercial wonderland square that takes up much of the city centre and the upscale area around Maximilianstrasse. Munich is famous for its food too, so make sure you try the local Weißwurst, Leberkässemmeln and other popular pork dishes.
Thanks to efficient S-Bahn train, getting to the city centre from Germany’s second busiest airport, Munich International Airport is quick and easy. Whether you’re looking for luxury hotels, youth hostels or comfortable apartments, Booking.com has the perfect accommodation for your Munich visit.

Great city, easy to get around on the u bahn and trams, get a ticket at the airport and you can use it all without worrying unless you go a long way out of the city. We bought a white zone ticket for two, for 3 days plus to and from airport for 82 euros. Train runs to and from airport around the clock. Lots of museums etc. The parks are really good and usually have a beer garden! We usually stay in the University district as it's lively and plenty of places to eat. Bit noisy in the evening but never seen any trouble. Customer service is good but don't expect any pleasantries or friendly chat. We have been visiting for years as family are there, still things we haven't seen.

I loved that the city makes it so easy to walk around and has excellent museums.
It has a beer centred culture that I didn’t care for, but obviously other travellers really enjoy.
Food is expensive but was generally good.

Nice city, but a little bit dirty.
Nice city, but a little bit dirty. Metro is not clear enough. S1 line to Flughafen is a mess. At Neufahrn station nobody understands which wagon to use to get to flughafen. Is it so hard to mark wagons? All passengers running from wagon to wagon guessing which one will go to flughafen because machinist say that this part of train will go to Freising and another part to Flughafen. Which is "this" part and which is "another"? Where is the line? Same about S8 line from Flughafen. It was some road works and no information about that. Train just stopped at half line way (Johaneskirchen station) and say it is the final stop for now.

We were in the wrong area to site see.
We were in the wrong area to site see. We stayed in the city center near the train station and museums. I was mistaken and thought we near the old town. We did not care to go to the museum and were more interested in what the old town had to offer. I think we would have enjoyed our time more if we had stayed in old town. The train station allowed for trips outside the city. We enjoyed traveling to smaller towns to site see.

Munch is a safe and organized city, perfect for tourists, specially because of the excellent public transportation. I do recommend a e-bike tour.
The museums are work visiting due to the high level of exhibitions, specially the Deutsche Museum. Beer garden are nice not only for locals but for tourists as well.

The location is quite accessible as right across the hotel, there is a bus station leading to the Munich East train station or to city centre. The place is clean, organized and easy to access with the pin provided. There are lockers for luggage storage and has a big space for your stuff. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is clean with extra towels in the common area. It has everything I need for a longer stay and will definitely come back.
Modern hotel close to the autobahn. On our way from the north of Germany to Italy, it was a great opportunity for us to stay overnight in Munich and travel onwards. We had no problem getting to the city centre using public transport. The bus stop is not far away. 2 bus lines run at 20 minute intervals. The room had everything we needed.
Breakfast was satisfactory, a good option for getting some energy before travelling further afield.
This hotel was well run with good, helpful staff. The economy room was as described- no frills- eg no aircon but absolutely acceptable.
Best feature ( not mentioned anywhere ) is its location. Although in a suburb, the underground station to everywhere is about a ten minute walk away. The underground system is extensive so city centre and other sites very accessible and cheap with a day pass. It’s a proper hotel and family owned.
Everything was amazing! The location is very convenient, just in front of a tram stop that takes you straight to the city centre in 15 minutes. The staff at the hotel is very friendly, and the room was super spacious with an amazing view of Munich. The room was super clean, huge windows and the toilet even had heated floors!
The hotel has a great ambience. Very unique and cozy. It is located very close to Munich Central Station (a walking distance only) and also very close to the city centre.
