Magnificent location, staff hospitality is beyond expectations. Breakfast and dinner are of "eat to death" kind - impossible to eat it all by one person. Some may like that, some not (I do) but road to the property is real adventure; one definitely needs a decent 4x4 (fueled to the top as there are no gas stations nearby) to reach it and return.

I have had one of the most delicious foods in Pirimze. The hosts were eager to cook the traditional tushetian food for us. They also helped us to arrange the transportation back to the city. The guesthouse itself has a spectacular view of the village of Dartlo. Rooms are comfortable. Recommended!

We have hiked from Khevsureti to Tusheti via Atsunda pass. After two days in the tent, we arrived at Shio's Stonehouse. We had the most welcoming hosts, delicious food and comfy rooms and the environment in general. 100% recommended.
