There are a few things that I liked about Mountain House. The wooden walls and structures made me feel at home and cozy. Also, I was lucky to stay there on their first year of running the business and have my dinner and breakfast included in the price. I presume they made this offer this year only, hopefully not!

Clean, the host was very kind and caring. Hot water worked well although they had to warm the water for us so the access was limited.

View is stunning. Location is great. About 700 meters away from the trailhead to the lake. Restuarant serves very good Georgian food with reasonable price operating from 9am - 9pm. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

It’s easy to reach. The road is just right in front of the building and the trail is on the right side, very easy to get to the trail and go for a hike. The room is small but comfy. The shared bathroom is clean and only share with the opposite room, not the whole hotel. Very kind and nice smile lady take a good care of us all the time.
