I absolutely loved my stay at Seaside International Hostel!
I absolutely loved my stay at Seaside International Hostel! 🌊 The location is unbeatable—just a short stroll to the beach, shops, and everything Seaside has to offer.
The room was perfectly comfortable, cozy, and just what I needed after a day of exploring. The common areas were clean, spacious, and actually felt like a place you want to hang out in—not just pass through.
And let me tell you… FREE KAYAKS! Yes, you read that right. I was not expecting to paddle off into coastal bliss at no extra charge, but it was such a fun surprise and totally made my trip.
I’ll definitely stay here again. And again. And again. 10/10 recommend if you're looking for a chill, friendly, and adventure-ready place to stay on the Oregon coast.

I haven't been to Seaside for many years and was surprised to see how it had changed. A lot of the charm of a small town is gone but there are plenty of attractions to keep people busy. The beach and surrounding environment are beautiful, especially the large rocks out in the ocean. The only downside was mother nature but you get what you get in the middle of May. Lots of places to eat but plan on walking a bit as parking can be tricky.

I loved the communal lounge and entertainment room.
I loved the communal lounge and entertainment room. Friendly and helpful staff. There was a big spider in my room and we suspect it may be from the cobwebs on the corners of the wall. The bed sheets feel like there’s sand on them. The parking is right next to the room so convenient!

This was a friends and family/friends get-together, from 3 states.
We were mainly interested in puzzels, cards, board and dice games, spending good quality time together and making/sharing meals together.
We did not make it to the beach or do much site-seeing, but we did shop the grocery stores and a couple of restaurants. I was surprised on how many grocery stores had popped up over the last several years. Like Grocery Outlet!

We have been going to Seaside regularly (several times a year) for the past 25 years and it is our favorite place to visit on the Oregon coast.
The overall experience is wonderful. The ocean is beautiful, and the food is excellent, and the variety of restaurants fits all taste buds and ages. Shopping is fun and prices are reasonable. There are also activities like walking on the beach, bike riding, kite flying, an arcade etc.

The view, the stone work on the balcony and the balcony furniture was a grade up from the cheap plastic stuff that most hotels have. It was an extra touch and I enjoyed it, the fireplace, the bed and pillows were comfortable, it was clean and I so enjoyed my stay.
Front desk were very friendly. Olrich was very nice and helpful too. Everyone is very welcoming which made our stay more feel at home like. This was 2nd visit to the hotel and it didnt disapoint me.
The breakfast options weren't as good as we hoped. The location was right on the beach. The bed was comfortable but we couldn't figure out the thermostat. It was either too hot or too cold.
