If you had asked me right after we arrived in the dark after 10 hours on a motorcycle what I thought of this place, I would tell you there’s no way it was worth it. But when the lovely staff labored on a home-cooked meal for us at 8pm and we got a good night’s rest on a soft bed under a princessy mosquito net and woke up to incredible views, my entire attitude changed. Having to exert considerable effort to get there made it that much more rewarding and worthwhile. Our bungalow was situated on top of a (steep) hill that allowed for privacy, the views were gorgeous, and the extra outside toilet was also a huge thrill.

A splendid little stopover on the Ha Giang Loop, most guest arrive after 3pm and leave before 9am. The location nesteled below the high peaks says it all, and as you wake up the view is splendid. It's certainly not a hotel style accommodation but more traveler/back packer style. Great staff, who try hard to please, good food and cold beer. Good WiFi and Hot Water

this place has very nice view, and it is also close to "Chieu Lau Thi" peak, which is a very high and beautiful place. I 100% recommend you bike up to there. The staff was very friendly and nice ! place is clean enough

Beautiful and peaceful location, friendly people, and good dinner. I stayed in the private room which is below the dorm room. It was quiet (but there was only one dorm guest). The landscape is very scenic. The place is remote and slightly challenging to find, but they provide decent directions. The driveway is steep and narrow if you are coming by motorbike, and you’d have to walk down if arriving by car. (Or get picked up). My only suggestion is that they update the room description…it was listed as a private room with private bathroom on Booking.com but the bathroom was separate and had to step outside to get to it. If I knew that, I would have just stayed in the dorm.

This place is amazing! The views are fantastic, all of the amenities are new and the food was top notch! Despite being very secluded, there was a very charming community feel. Great host!

Unique experience, it's not just accommodation. It's the whole lifestyle of the village you experience there. Everything is authentic and local. Unfortunately we could stay just one night, but I could happily stay there longer.

Nun Gia is a gem of a homestay. It has a huge common balcony with an exceptional view high over the river all the way to China. The room is a bit small but has everything expected although the airco has no heating facility and since we were there in februari it was a bit cold but they gave us extra blankets so no problem at all. The owners are a very nice couple who run it together. He speaks excellent English and she is a good cook. The dinner is with the family in the communal room where they all sit on the ground in a circle, very authentic and you feel part of their daily living. We would certainly visit again.
