More than anything I would like to express, how welcomed we felt just the minute we arrived. Mohit is guy to help with everything, knows places, can recommend useful apps and is there for you even when you feel unwell. Just like a good friend. He has lovely family and can prepare many delicious meals. Food stalls and snack shacks on the doorstep and a wine shop just up the road. Charming staff, all part of the family, very helpful and friendly. Shared areas include two kitchens, a dining area with a small library and a roof terrace with washing lines for drying laundry. The location is great, very close to Assi Ghat, where one can enjoy the morning and evening Ganga Aarti. Besides, Mahesh is a great host, he makes sure that the stay is comfortable and pleasant. I even met his parents and his daughter during the visit. I'm looking forward to stay with them again in my next visit to Varanasi. The room was pretty small, but was clean and quiet at night. The family lives on the first floor, a small communal space on the ground floor has two tables and a sofa.
