Directly in front of the guesthouse is Mt. Fuji. The location is so peaceful, the complete opposite of the busy cities we've visited like Tokyo. The guesthouse felt like home, especially as the kitchen was so equipped and with so many tokens from previous guests. We appreciated the stack of tourist guides on the dining room table as it felt like we had our own tourist info center there! The owner, Daizen, was kind enough to help us dry our items in the living room post-accident. He was responsive to inquiries. The room was warm and comfy, and had a small machine we can use to warm up our beds.

Featuring a shared lounge, Hana Hostel Fujisan is set in Yoshida. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, and buying tickets for guests. This hostel is very welcoming. The hosts were very kind and warm, the rooms were clean, comfortable and filled with small details. There is a living room with a kitchen, table and sofas downstairs available to the guests filled with many thoughtful elements, such as several kings of tea, snacks, books and comic books available for the guests. It brought back memories of visiting my grandparents in childhood. Additionally, this hostel is located less than 5 minutes walk away from the train station. I cannot recommend this place enough! If I visit mount Fuji area, I will definitely choose Hana Hostel again.
