The property was easy to find and came with good directions for accessing the room. I was pleasantly surprised to find the shared bathrooms were clean even though there is no staff at the facility.

The family-run Blue Viking Studios is next to Keflavík Harbor and 1.9 mi from Keflavík International Airport. Free WiFi and parking. The Blue Lagoon geothermal spa is within 20 minutes’ drive.

Located only 7 minutes from the airport. Very clean room. Family room (2 twins and a bunk bed) was larger than expected, plus it has a kitchenette.

Located in Keflavík, 12 mi from Blue Lagoon, Courtyard by Marriott Reykjavik Keflavik Airport features accommodations with a fitness center, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant.

Everything was great other than being an airport hotel ,it should have food (not just crisps etc.) available around the clock as people's flights come in late and my daughter was hungry and there was no warm meal to be had. Also travel personal items for sale like deodorant and mouthwash should be available- ours was taken at airport for beingbtoo big . So although the facility was great as was the staff amazing- the hotel wasn't taking into account that it's a hotel designated to service the airport passengers.

    SILICA is an incredible hotel experience. Private and secluded yet with access to the busy Blue Lagoon, and its facilities, it was just perfect. The room was wonderful, and opens out to a moon-like view. The private lagoon was a wonderful way to start the day.

    Very comfortable room; very well maintained Hotel; looked very nice; great setting amongst the lava field; great location for visiting the Blue Lagoon; nice spa facilities with steam room, saunas, tranquility room and massage option; very good restaurant with good food reasonably priced for Iceland; very nice large community room for guests with games and an honor bar that was well-stocked; great breakfast buffet; very nice receptionist.

    Great location if you are planning to hit up the Blue Lagoon. We stayed here our first night in Iceland. We wanted to see the northern lights and got lucky. I recommend this if you have a car, if not, it may be harder getting out to Grindavik.

    This was our favorite hotel ever, period. Their private Blue Lagoon pools were so beautiful. We were in and out of them all day. The restaurants were all delicious. Moss was super delicious - every course - and also a really fun experience. Not pretentious. And for lunch I recommend the the teriyaki beef carpaccio in the spa restaurant. So good! (And even more fun to have in your bathrobe between swims!)

    We were heading to the Blue Lagoon the next morning after our stay and this location in Grindavik was perfect, only 10 minutes away. It is a street over from the water and close to great restaurants too. The space is immaculate, brand new, beautifully decorated with gorgeous tile floors, counters and stovetop, a designer bathroom and amazing rain shower head, extremely comfortable bed that was sooo cozy, and all the amenities you could need.

    5 min from blue lagoon and 20 min drive to airport. A beautiful apartment that is cozy and modern. Worth every penny. The owners are kind and let us check in early, left a welcome gift of Iceland chocolate and drinks in refrigerator. Plenty of space, new washer and dryer. There is only 1 apartment so it is quiet and comfy. We will be back!

    We stayed at this hotel at the end of our holiday in Iceland. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast buffet was very nice. The hotel has a walking path to the Blue Lagoon.

    A large apartment to accommodate our party of 5. It was bigger than we needed but gave us room to spread out at the end of our travels. Had everything we needed! Is close to Blue Lagoon, so a late-night soak and then easy back to apartment. Easy access to food in the area if needed. Owners were very responsive.
