I enjoyed walking around the streets shopping having massages at different places. There were a few that I liked and visited a few times. The best places to get a salad sandwich is Tommy's or Lokka in Garlic lane.

Very central and crowded, I suppose part of the original Bali destination. Seedy aspects are the nightclub district. The streets are narrow and crowded, and get congested. At night the streets are full of prostitutes lurking in the shadows, solicitiing services. Not ideal when you are walking along with kids who are old enough to think this is bit strange but not know why or what.... Or when you are with your wife and you get propositioned.... not perhaps the best place to go with your wife. I wouldn't recommend the main street for families either. Closer to the beach in more resort style maybe better for you in that sense.Alternatively Seminyak is a nicer place, and Bali has a lot more to offer. However, if you want to get pissed, party on in clubs, pick up steeet girls, join in with the yobbo bogan fray, then this is classic Bali!

I was only there for one night but I would of like to stay longer it's pretty central to everything I had previous accomodation out of the way on sunset drive but I actually left there early to go to this accomadation so I had paid for 2 places on one night but the Amnaya was worth it I wish I spent my 4 nights there instead of the Medusa villa I stayed in

I loved the convenience of everything at your finger tips I will say the prices in restaurants have really gone up some of the prices are getting up to what we pay in Australia, the reason tourists come is Bali is affordable for families but you may price your self out of the restaurants don’t review this We love the Balinese they are so humble and beautiful people.

The hotel was spacious, comfortable, and had food available on site. The real winning feature, however, is the unsurpassable proximity to the international terminal of the Bali airport (DPS). Two turns and you literally get from the hotel lobby to the check in counters. Cannot be beat, especially if you have a flight earlier in the day or are arriving later in the evening.
